IS-Wireless in collaboration with Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) offers a PhD project entitled “Cell-less RAN and cooperative schemes for interference management“. The project is realized under the umbrella of TeamUp5G (http://teamup5g.webs.tsc.uc3m.es/) which stands for “New RAN TEchniques for 5G UltrA-dense Mobile networks“. TeamUp5G is a European Training Network aiming at providing a structured, international, intersectoral, and interdisciplinary research and training environment for PhD students. Minimum requirements apply: The person should have finished his/her Master (i.e. telecommunications, computer science or similar) by May/June latest, and a) at the date of recruitment, must be in the first four years of their research careers and have not been awarded a doctoral degree. and b) at the time of appointment, applicants “may not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies) in the country for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before their recruitment”.
